Description

(Age 16+) Paddle to Blake Island Marine State Park. Enjoy the views of the Seattle skyline and marine wildlife on this beautiful excursion. No paddling experience required! Intermediate level paddles are longer in distance and time on the water and require a higher level of fitness as compared to beginner level paddles.

Notes

• All minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.

• Meeting location will be the Southworth Ferry Terminal.

• There will be a 20-minute land-based paddle talk with instruction prior to the paddle in addition to a loading/unloading process on either end of the paddle. On-water paddle time will be approximately 3 hours.

• Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) will be provided and must be worn at all times while on the water.

• Please note our kayaks are tandem boats and you will be paddling with someone else.

• Our tandem kayaks have a weight limit of 300lbs per person and the dimensions of the cockpits are ?35.5 in long x 17.3 inches wide.

• Parks Tacoma reserves the right to adjust the itinerary or cancel the trip up to the start time of the program in response to marine conditions.

• Trips canceled due to unsafe marine conditions will be refunded in full.

• To receive a full refund our cancelation policy is 72 hours prior to our trip start time.
