Latta Homeschoolers: Winter Paddle

Don?t let the cold keep you inside this winter, bundle up and join us for a cold weather paddle on Mountain Island Lake. On this 2-hour winter kayaking adventure, you will discover the lake?s history, significance, legendary myths and what you can do to help protect it. All equipment is provided. We will paddle from the Kayak Storage Building to the Gar Creek Canoe Access. Please wear warm layers, gloves, and a warm hat. Single kayaks will be fitted with a spray skirt and all kayaks will have additional insulation inside. Please call for more information about proper clothing.
