Description
Aging in Place 101 - a Primer
Can I age in place or do I need to move? With a host of new technologies, products, and services available, it is more viable for people to stay in their homes longer. This presentation focuses on such areas as home modification and services available to age in place. Objectives: Assist those who wish to age in place; understand some basic home modification which can extend their time living in their current home; introduce the concepts of home care, home health care, and hospice; and assist in introducing some next steps to take to age in place. Presented by Paul Nasto of My Home Companion.
