Description: Create your own unique patterned papers for collage with paint, drawing, stamps and stencils. Learn layering techniques to create beautiful, unique, hand designed paper. By sewing and gluing, we will create layered effects and interesting juxtapositions. You will use the papers you have designed to create small collages and Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). Suggested materials to collect for use in class: old handwritten letters, interesting weathered old book pages, paper bags, odd bits of patterned paper you may have or find, bits of fabric, yarn, thread, old calendar pages.
