Description
Join our very own MCC Director of Programs, Michael Fisher as he shares his passion for leatherworking. Mike is a hobbyist with leather and does not sell his work but generally gifts projects to family and friends. He has created many different pieces from checkbook covers to phone cases and even costume armor pieces. Mike will share his knowledge and past mistakes with the SIA members and help them learn, personalize, and complete their choice of 1 of 3 different beginner level projects. (Holiday ornament, bookmark or keyring) Members will leave the session with a basic understanding of the leather stamping process, knowledge of various types of leather, and loads of terminology.
