Learn all about birds at this special event. Activity Stations and Bird Passports are available 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Glacial Park and at Volo Bog Sunday May 1, 12:00-4:00 p.m. Get your passport stamped as you participate in over a dozen games and activities! More stamps = more prizes, including our ever-popular Audubon plush bird that sings its song when squeezed! Door prizes include binoculars, photo prints, and more.
Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge will celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on Saturday, May 14 at the refuge's Turner Tract. The event will be held from 8-10 am and will feature a bird walk and information on what to do to make your property bird-friendly. Novice birders are welcomed to this event. Turner Tract is located on Hwy H on the north end of Genoa City. Look for the big brown Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge sign at N541 Co Trunk H, Genoa City, WI.
