Brought to you by the Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, McHenry County Audubon, and the McHenry County Conservation District.

Learn all about birds at this special event. Activity Stations and Bird Passports are available 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | Get your passport stamped as you participate in over a dozen games and activities! More stamps = more prizes, including our ever-popular Audubon plush bird that sings its song when squeezed! Door prizes include binoculars, photo prints, and more.

On Sunday May 16, visit Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge at N541 County Hwy H, Genoa City WI and Four Seasons Nature Preserve at N1889 Co Trunk H, Lake Geneva, WI for bird hikes and activities 8:00-10:30 a.m.

  • This is a free special event and registration is not required. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult family member.
