Cancellations and Refunds

For questions about programs or to cancel your enrollment notify the Education Department at 815-479-5779 or email us at education@MCCDistrict.org.

2. Unless otherwise stated in the program description program fees are refunded for cancellations received at least 5 business days from the date of the program. Summer Camps require a notice of 10 business days. For programs that have a waiting list we may issue refunds closer to the program date should we be able to fill the space with another participant from the waiting list.

3. Credit card refunds are issued back to the card on which the payment was made. Check refunds are issued for programs paid for by cash or check. Checks are issued once per month and may take 2-6 weeks to process.

Processing Fee

When registering for programs that have fees a $2.00 processing will be added to your order. This applies to all payment types including credit and debit cards, cash, and checks. This fee is not refundable.

Waiting Lists

If you have been placed on a waiting list for a program there is no fee due unless you are later enrolled in the program. We will contact you by phone and/or email if space becomes available.

If You Register by Phone, Fax, Mail or in Person....Please Note!

1. Program fees are expected with registration or within 5 business days of the date you register. When registering for a program that will occur within 5 business days the program fee is due immediately.

2. Credit card payments are accepted online only. Cash and check payments are accepted at the Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake, Illinois, 60014. Make checks payable to the McHenry County Conservation District.

3. Your space in the program (s) will be cancelled if your payment is not received by the due date on your invoice.
