Description
Dr. Christopher Jacques is an Associate Professor of Wildlife Ecology at Western Illinois University. In 2015, Dr. Jacques and his graduate students initiated a research project to estimate detection and density of bobcats using remote camera trap data. In 2017 they expanded the scope of work to estimate bobcat home range use and survival in the agriculturally-dominated landscapes of west-central Illinois. Today, Dr. Jacques will be presenting results from ongoing bobcat research.
