Description

Enjoy a day at the beach with family, friends or coworkers, kayaking at your leisure in San Juan Cove on Mission Bay.

Includes 5 kayaks and a lifeguard/supervisor, life jackets and safety equipment, one 6-foot table, one 10x10 canopy, setup and breakdown. 15 participants maximum.

Notes

1. 15 person maximum. More than 15 people requires additional equipment and staff and must be designed and priced by Events Supervisor.
2. All participants will be required to sign a waiver to participate. Participants under the age of 18 will need the signature of their parent. We cannot accept verbal authorization or substitute signatures from family members or acquaintances so it will be important that if a participant under the age of 18 will be attending without their parent, that they get the waiver signed in advance and bring it on the day of the event. The waiver can be downloaded from http://www.mbaquaticcenter.com/pdfs/forms/special_events_waiver.pdf.
3. Parking on Santa Clara Point can be challenging. Please advise your participants to carpool and use the alternate parking map that can be downloaded from http://www.mbaquaticcenter.com/pdfs/parking_map.pdf. Please advise them to not park illegally in the red zone, handicap spots, or in the attached trailer parking or they will be ticketed.
4. All participants, guests and attendees must adhere to MBAC?s rules and regulations. Participants will be informed of all of the policies and procedures relating to the activity(ies) and will understand that the safe and proper use of the facilities or property or participation in the activity is dependent upon carefully following such policies and procedures. You agree to assume responsibility for the conduct of your respective guests at all times.
5. Alcohol, drugs and drug paraphernalia are STRICTLY PROHIBITED at all times on Santa Clara Point and on MBAC equipment. If participants are found with any of the above listed items or exhibit intoxicated behavior they will be asked to leave and San Diego Police will be promptly notified if necessary.
6. You must provide at least 48 hours notice of event changes or cancellations. Should the activity(ies) under this agreement be unable to be performed, due to weather conditions, mechanical failures, or circumstances beyond control, the activity shall be offered at an alternative time mutually agreeable to the parties.
7. Number of attendees cannot exceed the maximum dictated by the package purchased. Attendees over the maximum will incur additional charges. Under no circumstances can events exceed 50 people.
8. All catering must have insurance on file with the city of San Diego and be approved by the MBAC Events Supervisor.
