Description
Washington State law requires a boater safety course in order to operate a boat in Washington State. The law applies to operators of motorboats with 15 horsepower or greater. The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Boating classes satisfy Washington State's mandatory education requirements for all boaters to get their State of Washington Boater's card. Course includes: introduction to boating; boating law; boat safety equipment; safe boating; navigation; boating problems; trailering, storing and protecting your boat; hunting and fishing; water skiing; and river boating. Class includes time for a lunch break. Ages 10 to 13 must attend with an adult.
