Description

Vietnamese authentic mi xao gion (pronounced MEE-sao-Yon) is a crunchy noodle dish. The dish features crunchy noodles topped with a stir-fry of protein and vegetables in a glossy, umami-rich sauce. Mix xao gion is made across China and Taiwan, but the Vietnamese version tops the golden egg noodles with a stir-fry flavored fish sauce, a distinctly Vietnamese inclusion. The varied textures of the sauced crunchy noodles and the myriad ingredients in the stir-fry made each bite a unique taste. We will use pork, carrots, lettuce, garlic, onions (ingredients may vary due to season) and seasoning sauces to cook the wonderful aromatic dish. You will learn how to make and eat mi xao gion. You will be notified what cooking utensils to bring in addition to containers to take home and share with family and friends.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation fee: $10.00. All cancellations must be provided in writing and emailed to csd@marinwood.org. We will not process refunds over the phone. Cancellation requests must be submitted before the session/program begins.
