Enjoy 5 early morning Tai Chi classes at Bliss Park. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise that uses slow, smooth body movement and concentrates on breathing and balance to achieve a state of relaxation of both body and mind and chi (energy) development. It is less strenuous than other martial arts that offers general health benefits including improved concentration, stress reduction, flexibility and strength. The class involves traditional warm-ups and stretching, breathing exercises, stances and 3-part form. Wear comfortable clothing, a flat sole indoor sneaker, dance shoe or bare feet. Your instructor is James P. Shea 7th Dan SKIF. He is a licensed Karate do and Tai Chi instructor and has been teaching for over 30 years. No class 7/27.
