Jr. Lifeguard Academy

Prerequisites: Minimum Level 4 swim ability

Come join the Robert Livermore Aquatic Center Team! The American Red Cross Junior Lifeguard program builds a strong foundation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills geared towards the prevention and responses to emergencies. Each day participants enjoy a variety of water and land activities designed to promote fitness, self-esteem, leadership skills, and TEAM work. Jr. Lifeguards will receive training in CPR and First Aid, as well as the Jr. Lifeguard Certification. Bring your lunch and reusable water bottle to keep hydrated. Snacks provided. Candidates who complete the academy are invited to volunteer throughout the summer season.
