In Victorian times communication was very reserved, with overt conversations, particularly between the sexes, being frowned upon. Subtle methods were devised for communicating feelings and the use of flowers was one of the most popular. Join Ranger Dawn for an introduction to the Victorian language of flowers and find out what the flowers in your bouquet may be saying to or about you. Each participant will make and take home their own "tussie mussie" bouquet. We will also enjoy and afternoon tea complete with sweets and savories. Ages 10 and up but under 18 must be accompanied by an adult registered for the program.
