Description

Happy New Year! The arrival of a new year always brings changes...especially in nature! We will be figuring out how weather works, why the leaves on trees fall in Autumn, how the earth moves, and a whole lot more!

  • LESSON 1 – 1/6 - THE 4 SEASONS - Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall! Why do we have them? What causes seasons to change? Let’s learn all about it!

  • LESSON 2 – 1/13 - PLANT ADAPTATIONS TO THE SEASONS - As the weather changes the plants change too. Some plants lose their leaves and others produce flowers. We are going to unpack these seasonal changes in plants and how they benefit from a change in the weather.

  • LESSON 3 – 1/20 - ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS TO THE SEASONS - Rabbits that can change color?! Hibernating chipmunks?! These are real things and we are going to learn about them and more!

  • LESSON 4 – 1/27 - GEOLOGIC CHANGES - ROCKS, EARTHQUAKES, AND VOLCANOES - Rocks can change too?! The earth can move! In this lesson we will be learning all about how rocks rock and the way the earth moves!
