Description:
Level 2 Camp - Sculling Camp
Beginner -
This class will take anyone from ground 0 and give them the skills they need to use a boat safely on the river, how to prepare the boat and equipment for themselves and how to enjoy rowing. 4 rowing sessions with an Edon will ensure you get the time you need in the boat to build the fundamental skills. This class will focus on setting up equipment and moving equipment. The boats allow for a variety of settings for all people to fit comfortably and feel safe. You are essentially learning to become a captain, an athlete, a rower, and a teammate through sculling.
Program Goals:
Personal safety on the dock and while navigating the river
Building an enthusiasm for rowing
Teaching athletes the FUNdamentals of sculling
