Description
Beginner – Rowing
This class takes anyone from ground zero and gives them the skills they need to use a boat safely on the river, how to prepare the boat and equipment for themselves and how to enjoy rowing. Two rowing sessions with flexible days and times offered every weekday will ensure you get the time you need in the boat to build the fundamental skills. This class focuses on setting up equipment and moving equipment on the dock. We have a variety of boats for all people to fit comfortably and feel safe. Learn to become a captain, an athlete, a rower, and a teammate through sculling. After registering, an LOCR instructor will contact you to schedule your weekly lesson.

If you are in a high risk category LOCR strongly recommends you wait to register until a vaccine is available.
Registration Requirements
Enrollment in any rowing program is dependent on the following requirements:
1. USRowing membership and signed waiver

Registration Requirements: Lake Oswego Community Rowing has teamed up with Parks & Receation to provide easy access to information and registration for all rowing activities. Enrollment in any rowing program is dependent on the following requirements:
- Current and Signed Float Test Form
- Lake Oswego Community Rowing Forms
- Completed USRowing Waiver
