2024 Art Festival

The 2024 Art Festival will be held on June 29 from 11am-4pm at the Ranch House. Artwork will be showcased for the community to come out and see.

Timeline

April 1: Artwork submission period opens.

May 15: Artist registration period closes.

June 3: Artwork submission period closes at 10pm.

June 17th: Notification to artists whose work is selected for the festival.

June 28: Drop off artwork between 12pm-5pm at the Ranch House.

June 29th: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place awards will be announced at 3pm.

July 1: Pick up artwork between 9am-12pm.

Submission Information:

• Open to ages 8-15 and 16+.

• Original artwork: Open theme, all mediums accepted.

• Maximum finished or framed size 24”x 36” x 48”

• Cannot exceed 30lbs.

• Early submission could result in artwork being used on promotional materials.

• Submission Deadline: June 3, 2024, at 10pm.

• Can submit up to 3 pieces of artwork.

• Entry information: Images of artwork must be submitted by email to katem@kcranch.org. Each image must be in jpeg or pdf format and must be included in the email as an attachment.

• Label information must be provided in the body of the email for each image and include the following:

1. Artist name

2. Title of work

3. Medium

4. Finished or framed size

5. Contact information of artist if artwork is for sale (note art cannot be sold on District property, but patrons can contact artist after festival)

6. Statement/ description of the work (optional)

Additional Details:

Artwork will be selected by a panel of judges from the Ken-Caryl Art Guild.

Sale of artwork is the responsibility of the artist.

All artwork selected for the show must be ready to hang with hanging wires.

Cancellation Policy:

Artist must cancel their submissions by June 3rd.
