Morel Mushroom Hunting Session 2

Morel mushrooms are one of the first and most delicious mushrooms to grow in Minnesota. Join the "Chick of the Woods" to gain confidence identifying morels and learn tricks to finding them. We might even find other mushrooms or wild edibles while we are out!

We will meet at a park in Jordan (TBD) to learn about the morel for about 30-45 minutes, then head into the woods for the remaining time to see what we can find. Students must be able to traverse through uneven terrain. Class will be cancelled for lightning or heavy rain, but we will proceed in light rain. Please dress for the weather.
