About This Course:
Learn Game Development with Unreal Engine 5, the leading game engine behind iconic titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Final Fantasy VII Remake. This program is designed to provide a solid foundation for beginners, covering fundamental concepts, advanced techniques, and real-world applications within Unreal Engine 5. Students will create immersive experiences with Blueprints, a user-friendly visual scripting system designed to simplify the development of gameplay features.
About Unreal Engine: Unreal Engine is an advanced and powerful game engine used across various game industries. It is renowned for its extensive application in game design across diverse sizes and genres. Known for its exceptional graphical capabilities, it extends its influence beyond gaming into industries such as real-time 3D visualization, virtual production, and simulation.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the core features and functionalities of Unreal Engine 5.
- Develop proficiency in creating interactive environments and compelling gameplay mechanics.
- Explore advanced topics such as optimization, Blueprints, and industry-standard workflows.
- Apply acquired skills to develop a game from start to finish.

- Length: 10 weeks, $2 per class.
- Sessions are held in our eSports Lounge.
- Sessions will include lectures, practical exercises, and independent work time.
- Students will create a project that will showcase learned skills.
- Prerequisites: No prior experience is required; however, a basic understanding of game development concepts is beneficial.
