About This Course: Learn Game Development with Roblox Studio and Minecraft, the creative engine behind millions of user-generated games. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your skills, this course is designed to guide you through the dynamic world of Roblox / Minecraft game development. From designing immersive environments to scripting engaging gameplay, this class will empower you to turn your imagination into reality.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand the core features and functionalities of Roblox Studio.
  • Develop proficiency in creating interactive environments and compelling gameplay mechanics.
  • Learn the art of scripting using LUA within the Roblox environment.
  • Utilize the diverse list of tools and models available in Roblox Studio’s expansive library.
  • Apply acquired skills to develop a game from start to finish perfect for publishing on the Roblox game library.

Additional Info:
  • Length: 10 weeks, $2 per class.
  • Sessions are held in our eSports Lounge.
  • Sessions will include lectures, practical exercises, and independent work time. ? Students will create a project that will showcase learned skills.
  • No prior experience is required; however, a basic understanding of game development concepts is beneficial.
