12. YIN AND YANG: 2015 VS 2016 (Friday, May 30) 2015 and 2016 are two back-to-back excellent and very different vintages. The first one was very hot whereas the second one was a much cooler year. That unusual circumstance in two consecutive vintages allow for a very enlightening comparison in the personality and style of the wines, especially since both have delivered wines of great complexity and a long and promising aging potential. To close this season, we will assess, almost a decade later, the quality and evolution of these two great yet dissimilar vintages by comparing the same six wines.
