09. TALKIN' ABOUT A REVOLUTION II: 30 YEARS OF WINE (Thursday, May 15)

The last 30 years have simply been the best ones in the long wine history of Spain. The early 1990s saw the beginning of an unprecedented wine revolution that has transformed Spain’s wine landscape like no other period before, surpassing the achievements of the mid-19th century. Since I started this wine program in 1995, it has been a privileged witness of this revolution, so there’s no better way to celebrate these thirty years of wine seminars than devoting three tastings to the groundbreaking wines, wineries and winemakers responsible for this sea change. Each tasting will showcase twelve different wines that represent the most important turning points that have redefined the wines of Spain in the last three decades and have set the course for an even brighter future.
