Description:
Join other homeschoolers for this education series at the Eagle Creek Park Ornithology Center, all about birds! Perfect for the young naturalist or budding ornithologist! Each of the 5 weeks we learn explore different topics of Ornithology, such as bird identification, adaptations, behavior, ecology and conservation! Each class will consist of a virtual pre-recorded lesson, video links and handouts to review before meeting in person at the Ornithology Center every other Tuesday for a bird hike and hands-on activities.
The entire series is $30 per student. This a hybrid series with BOTH VIRTUAL and IN-PERSON components. Pre-registration is required! Call 317-327-BIRD for more information. Notes: Participants should wear comfortable clothes, good walking shoes and dress for the weather!
This is a drop-off program. Parents do not need to stay, but are also welcome!
