TL Ridgway is a nationally recognized artist, who spends much of her time teaching community art classes and outreach programs. She earned her BA in Art History with minor certificates in Anthropology, Classics, and Book Arts. She completed her MFA thesis exhibition at Herron School of Art & Design. Ridgway was the 2018 Artist-in-residency at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. She serves her local community by holding a board position on the Greencastle Arts Council.

Her most well-known works explore the way various factors contribute to (wo)man's perception of the natural world, and the way our brains respond to places by building an emotional connection through memory. Ridgway is inspired by the abstract expressionist movement, Medieval/Renaissance engravers, and classical sculpture.

Her current work celebrates the natural habitats that she spends much of her time observing and documenting. "Spending time in nature encourages my fantastical imagination and calms my restlessness."
