
Korean Handbuilding & Wheel Class (Kim)

Description
During the eight-week session, the class will practice fundamental knowledge and techniques previously learned to hand-build, decorate, and glaze ceramic artifacts.
Students will also have enough opportunity to learn and practice basic skills for making wheel-thrown works.
Although the primary language of the instructor and students is Korean, this class is open to non-Korean speakers who are interested in learning more about Korean pottery techniques.
Pottery open studio tuition includes a $40 fee, which covers the cost of a 25-lb. bag of clay, glazes, and 2500 cubic inches of glaze firing. Additional clay and tools can be purchased from the Education Department.

Registration will not be pro-rated after classes have begun.
A written notice of at least one week must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $40.
We reserve the right to cancel a class for lack of participants. Cancellation of classes due to insufficient enrollment will be made one (1) business day before the first class. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary.
