Description
Learn to paint, improve your painting skills, or try a new medium for painting, in this fun and creative class! Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of painting, offering beginners an excellent foundation in the painting arts, while unique creativity and expression is encouraged.
Beginners should select to work from oil, acrylic, watercolor or pastel (choose one), and continue with that medium for the duration of the course. More experienced, and professional painters, are challenged to perfect their craft, take some painting risks, and develop a body of work. Experienced students may combine materials for mixed-medium applications. Students work at their own pace, without pressure, using the reference of their choice (usually from photos), in the painting style they prefer.
Your instructor, Elizabeth, an experienced professional artist and teacher, is trained in both Classical Realism and Contemporary painting methods. All students receive individual direction and critique, and plenty of hands-on painting time. Lessons include tools and techniques, composition, color theory and mixing, and much more! Register today for a fun, interactive studio environment for learning and sharing with other painters.

Registration will not be pro-rated after classes have begun.
A written notice of one week must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $40.
We reserve the right to cancel a class for lack of participants. Cancellation of classes due to insufficient enrollment will be made one (1) business day before the first class. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary.
