Start your weekend off by being creative in our Friday Beginner/Intermediate Pottery Wheel class, which will offer an enjoyable and relaxing evening learning the fundamentals of functional pottery.

In class we will cover wheel throwing, trimming, altering and glazing our clay to be a functional work that you take home and use!

We will be making work to be fired in cone 6 electric kilns with an end of session bonus raku firing. All experience levels are welcome!

Required for class: a beginner set of clay tools and one bat (available for purchase at the Hudgens gift shop.) Participants might also want to wear an apron and bring an old towel to protect their clothing from clay.

Pottery class tuition includes a $40 fee, which covers the cost of a 25-lb. bag of clay, glazes, and 2500 cubic inches of glaze firing. Tuition also includes one 2.5 hour open studio slot per week.
