2024 Float2Fly Session 4 - Emancipation/MacGregor 2:30

Houston Parks and Recreation and Float2Fly are offering a free series of water safety and learn to swim class for ages 5 and up with 3 different skill levels varying from beginner to advanced. Classes will alternate pools for swim lessons. The times will remain the same. Please note the following changes: on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the classes will be conducted at Emancipation Pool, located at 3018 Emancipation Ave 77004. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the classes will be conducted at MacGregor Pool, located at 5225 Calhoun Rd 77021. We apologize for any inconvenience this change has caused. There are four 2-week sessions. Classes are FREE and space is limited on a “first-come, first-served” basis during each session. Due to the limited number of classes available and to allow the maximum number of participants, please do not register/waitlist at more than one site. Registrations at more than one site will be cancelled to allow an opportunity for greater participation. If your plans change after you have registered and you cannot attend the session, please call the Aquatics Office so that your registration can be cancelled. Registrants are dropped from the roster after 2 consecutive days of missed class. Level 1 Float - Basic skills Level 2 Feel - active movement and basic swimming. (must be able to enter water, submerge head, and float without aid) Level 3 Fly - Fundamental competitive Skills (complete lev 2 and swim 10yd unassisted) Please note: level placement will be determined by instructor during first class.
