CAMP AMP is a place where students are empowered and given the freedom to be creative, develop skills and confidence, and can play as loud as they want!

Learn from the best! CAMP AMP is taught by professionals and seasoned educators. Opportunities are provided for students to develop valuable skills, techniques, discipline and self-confidence all while making new friends with kids who have the same interests. The atmosphere is fun, positive and educational.

Students are divided into Rock bands where they learn songs to prepare for an end-of-camp live performance on Friday evening, July 20 (open to the public). Music is fun, relevant and innovative while accessible to all skill levels. All students will rehearse in their bands, learn the craft of songwriting, create their own band logo and screen print it onto their own t-shirt. Concert Production will teach lighting, sound engineering and stage design. Camp Amp students must attend both weeks.

All course offerings are dependent upon enrollment. If a student registers for both CAMP AMP and Hillsboro Arts Summer (HAS), he/she must bring a lunch. Faculty bios and class descriptions are located at Hillsboro-Oregon.gov/CampAmp. *No refunds are offered after camp starts.*

Instrument and voice students must fill out a survey before camp begins. The survey will be emailed to each student at the time of registration. To register call 503-681-5397 or register at Hillsboro Parks & Recreation administration office.
