Description
Safety Camp for youth entering 3rd through 5th grade on Friday, June 27th 8:00 - 3:30PM at McAuliffe Elementary School.
A full day of activities, games, and learning sessions on fire safety, bike safety, self-defense, outdoor & animal safety, and much more! Activities are led by staff from Hastings Parks and Recreation, Hastings Community Education, Hastings Fire & Police, Dakota Electric Association, and Carpenter Nature Center.
$40 fee includes: t-shirt, pizza lunch, snack & activities
What to bring:
Bicycle, scooter or skateboard & a helmet
Bag labeled with child's name including a water bottle & towel
Please no flip flops
*Participants can choose to get wet at the end of the camp from the fire truck hose!
