Summer Online Academy-Science

High school students may take online summer courses for enrichment, grade replacement, or credit advancement to free up time during the regular school year or fulfill prerequisites in order to take AP classes sooner. If you are attempting to fulfill a graduation requirement, consider checking with your counselor before making a course selection to ensure that the correct selection is made.

Middle School Students: With prior administrative approval, middle school students may take an online summer course for enrichment or enroll in a course for high school transfer credit in Algebra, Geometry, or World Language. However, they may take ONLY ONE semester-length course for high school credit during the summer.

If a student needs to drop a class for any reason after completing registration, a $15.00 processing fee will be applied to each dropped class before a refund is issued.

No refunds will be issued for classes dropped after noon on June 21, 2024.

Important Dates:

June 10- Classes begin

June 21- Last day to enroll (by noon)

June 21- Last day to drop with a refund, must be done via email by noon ($15.00 fee will still be applied to all refunds)

August 9- Classes end Finals Exams scheduled by appointment

PLEASE NOTE: When registering, be sure you are entering the STUDENT'S name, phone, and contact information. This summer session allows for maximum flexibility to complete courses. All courses are worth one-semester credit (0.5 credit). This means it can take two courses to get a full credit (i.e., completion of Algebra IA and IB and needed for full Algebra I credit).
