Description: The Haslett United Junior Gymnastics team was developed to give middle school-aged gymnasts an opportunity to compete in gymnastics without the time and monetary commitments of USAG. We strive to keep a light-hearted and recreational attitude at our practices and meets, while still encouraging strong skill development. We expect gymnasts to come to practice ready to work and have fun! This team will also be used to prepare gymnasts to join the Haslett United High School Gymnastics Team. There will be two Haslett United Junior teams this season practicing during one combined session. a competitive team and a recreational team. The Haslett United Jr. Gymnastics teams train September 2021 through February 2022. Fees for the teams were split into two registrations, the August registration covered the training fees for the first half of the season (Sept.-Dec.) and this registration covers the second half of the season (Jan-March). Gymnasts that did not register for the first session will not be allowed to register for the winter session without prior approval from the coach. Additional fees may include purchase of competition leotard and shorts, warm up jacket, meet fees, choreography and optional spirit wear. While all gymnasts are encouraged to compete, it is not required.
