The AARP Smart Driver Initial Training is an 8 hour course split into 2 days. This full course is for anyone who has never taken it before or has not taken a refresher course within the past 3 years.

Claim your safe driver discount! When you take the AARP Smart Driver Course you may be eligible for a multi-year discount on your auto insurance. Check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify. Safer driving can save you more than just money. The course teaches proven driving techniques to help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road. Cost is $25 & AARP Members receive a $5 discount; checks made payable to AARP.
