Description: Girl Scout Juniors in grades 4 and 5, let's start the new year off together with our mutual love of books! Join GCNWI for the Junior Book Club's January meeting when we'll discuss the book "Pippi Longstocking", by Astrid Lindgren. This virtual FREE program will be held on Zoom from 5:00-5:45pm CST.

Notes:
Meet Pippi Långstrump, a nine-year-old pigtailed redhead whose mother died when she was a baby and her father, a sea captain, has seemingly vanished at sea.

Pippi moves into a big house known as Villa Villekulla, located in a little Swedish village, with her pet monkey and a suitcase full of gold. Check out the book to read about Pippi's adventures!
