Girl Scouts in grades 2-3 are invited to Camp Greene Wood on October 2 for the Making Friends badge workshop. Friends are another kind of family. They're the people you have fun with and who help you when you need it. Make new friends and keep the old at this badge workshop!

Explore the truth in your own story and the power of your voice! Inspired by Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s book Becoming: Adapted for Young Readers, this program is part of a 3-badge series. Mrs. Obama writes in her book about the importance of friendship in her life, both now and in her childhood. Through this badge, Brownies learn how to build meaningful friendships that make them feel connected and supported.
