Description: Experience local nature firsthand during Girl Scout Day at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum! Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies will have the opportunity to observe bugs up close, investigate different local habitats in an outdoor nature adventure, explore the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven and all of the Nature Museum exhibits. Groups will rotate through two hands-on sessions led by an experienced Nature Museum educator in the morning session. Bring a bagged lunch and take a mid-day break with your troop in one of the Museum's private meeting spaces.


After lunch, explore the museum exhibits at your own pace, taking time to document all that you see in a provided journal. Daisies will work toward their Trail Adventure badges, and Brownies will have the opportunity to work on their Bugs badges.

*Each girl must attend with a supervising adult. This is not a drop off event. Adults do not need to register this this event.
