Description: 

It is pumpkin smashing season! Join us for our 3rd annual Pumpkin Smash event and unite with others in the effort to help divert compostable material from landfills. Composing pumpkins is a great way we can help our planet and why not have some fun in the process! Bring your old pumpkins to compost...and SMASH! You can choose to drop your pumpkin from a ladder or use a hammer to break it into smaller pieces. If you don't want to smash your pumpkin, you can also drop it off, but please still register so we know you are coming!

Want to do more?! Attend our fun Fall Fest either before or after you smash your pumpkin! Participate in various activities that include making fall themed crafts, adventuring through the forest, either on a spooky or glow hike, playing games, and enjoying a pre-packaged snack around the campfire's glow.

This event will be entirely outdoors, all buildings will be locked, and a structured event. Participants will rotate between stations, which includes the free Pumpkin Smash, in a particular and timed order.

Designed for families or troops. Patch included. (Note: This registration includes the free Pumpkin Smash event!)

Notes:
All participants planning to attend, including adults, need to be registered for this event. This is not a drop-off event and girls/troops must have an adult chaperone.
