Description:
Hit the trails for a winter hike around camp! If there is enough snow on the ground, try out a pair of camp's snowshoes. Snowshoes are footwear for walking on the snow, which you put on top of your snow boots. Snowshoes hold you on the surface of the snow, by distributing your weight over a larger area so your foot does not sink completely in the snow. No snow? No problem! Join us as we take a whimsical hike through the winter woods.
This program is for troops or individuals with adult chaperones.
This program does not include a patch or badge.
Check out the GSGCNWI Shop for badges, patches, and other fun GS camp gear!
This program does not include a snack or meal.
Notes:
All participants planning to attend, including adults, need to register for this event. This is not a drop-off event and youth/troops must have an adult chaperone.
