Description
Keep busy this summer with FUN exercises that will teach you how to make your paintings look professional. You will see how to mix colors, understand color and value using your eyes and paint, discover where you can apply your color knowledge, the meaning of colors, the sensation produced by color, the effects of color proximities that change the perception of color. You will practice using four basic color harmonies to create a piece of art every day, and see how to create palettes for the various subjects you select to paint. You do not need to know how to draw and even if you have never taken an art class, you will have options from which to select to be comfortable executing your paintings. Please see NOTES section for information about supplies.
