Tasty Books: Hidden Figures

Enter the tasty and adventurous world of books using all five senses. Stories come to life as you search the room in a fun scavenger hunt, create a hands-on crafts, make a themed snack, do a little dance to shake out the wiggles, and then sit down for story time.

Hidden Figures tells the story of four African-American women mathematicians and the work they did at NASA from the 1940s to the 1960s. We'll read this beautifully illustrated book that tells an amazing story of African-American women doing hard work, solving problems and breaking barriers for future generations!

Adult supervision required. Individual tickets need to be purchased for each child and adult. Advance registration strongly encouraged. Admission is $5 per person. Please purchase tickets for every child and adult attending.
