Description: Who are Torpedoes? Torpedoes are swimmers who are able to do basic arm strokes on their front and backs, dolphin kick, and swim underwater. This class will focus on learning to swim on front and backs the length of the pool, kicking with kick-boards, and learning the butterfly and breast stroke. Please see note below!

Notes: A note from Suzy: My goal is to teach your children to be safe in and around the water, have fun and learn to swim. I have been teaching swimming for over 40 years, and have raised 3 great girls who attended the Girdwood School. I will teach all levels of swimming from a tadpole class to swimming laps of all strokes. I will be teaching group classes with a maximum of 6 kids in a group. My classes will be 30 minutes each, so please try to get your child to the pool right on time as I will start my class right on time. This session will be 3 weeks long, and classes will be held twice a week on Monday' and Thursdays. * Note-when choosing the right swimming class remember "The ability is more important than the age". After the first day of lessons we may need to move kids up or down a swimming group level.
