Description

This class will meet the prerequisite for the upcoming Wilderness First Aid class (May 5 & 6), as well as meet the needs of people who require certification for work, or just personal knowledge.

When you understand first aid, you'll gain the ability to help those in need. Through our first aid certification classes you'll learn how to respond to specific situations, which will help you care for people in crisis as they wait for medical professionals to arrive.

When it comes to CPR, it's important to know how to treat both kids and adults. This CPR training will cover the procedures/steps for caring for adults, as well as children.

Sudden cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. With American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid and CPR training you can learn when and how to provide CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), control major bleeding, and treat immediate threats to life and limb. This class will deliver simple-to-use techniques and information that can help gain the confidence and skills to save a life.
