Riverview Farmstead by Lantern Light (Session 2)

As winter closes in and the nights get longer, imagine what life was like for people in a time before electricity, when Will County was dominated by prairie grasses. Learn about the three generations of the Clow family and their farmstead all by the light from lanterns. A naturalist will share stories of life back then as we examine the inside of the 19^th-century buildings and explore the grounds of the preserve. This program takes place outdoors on crushed limestone trails and indoors with some uneven surfaces.
