Birding by Boat

Take your birding to the next level and view them from the water! From a safe distance, explore birds in places that can only be seen by boat. Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. All equipment is provided, including life jackets. Previous kayaking experience is required, as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program. The natural surface launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot.

Ages 12 or older. (Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult).
