Description

Take a lantern-lit 1 to 3-mile self-guided walk through the winter woods with your sweetheart at your own pace, be it leisurely or moderate. Then, warm up around a cozy fire. Ages 18 and up. $10 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-933-7248.

Use the parking lot on the east side of Spring Road south of 31st Street and north of York Road and meet near the nature center.

Dress for the weather; flashlight recommended but not required.

In accordance with Restore Illinois guidelines, all visitors 2 or older regardless of vaccination status must

• Wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when inside forest preserve buildings.

• Consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
