Description: Get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into the winter care of the center's residents -- from diet prep and habitat changes to training and enrichment -- each based on the animal's species, health needs and overall personality. Then, help with a fall-themed enrichment project that we will give to the animals during the program. Ages 12 and up; under 18 with an adult. $5 per person. Dress for the weather.

In accordance with Restore Illinois guidelines, all visitors 2 or older regardless of vaccination status must
• Wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when inside forest preserve buildings.
• Consider wearing a mask in crowded outdoor settings and for activities that involve close contact with others who are not fully vaccinated.
