To Check Availability and Book a Shelter or Picnic Area
- Choose reservation group "Shelters and Picnic Areas".
- Browse alphabetically by preserve name -or- search for the name of the preserve in the search field.
- For help choosing your shelter or picnic area, visit our Picnicking page.
- Click on the name of the shelter to view calendar.
- To choose a shelter from the availability calendar and book it, you will need to be logged into your online account.
- Your booking includes access to the reservable area one hour after sunrise until one hour after sunset.
To Check Availability and Book a Blackwell Family Campsite
- Choose reservation group "Family Campsites".
- Choose your site, and click on the Site # to view calendar.
- For help choosing your site, please visit our Family Camping page.
- To choose a site from the availability calendar and book it, you will need to be logged into your online account.
- To use the Date and Time drop down option, you will need to change the time range to 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Blackwell Family Campground is open from the first weekend of May through Columbus day weekend, on Friday and Saturday nights only, and can be booked one year in advance. To book extra nights available on extended holiday weekends only, call Visitor Services at 630-933-7248
