Description

Students will use Micro:bit, VEXcode VR, and Hummingbird to unleash their creativity to craft and animate robots. Both block and text-based coding languages will be used. Students will code and control the remote robots from their home using the visual-based coding designed in class. Micro:bit is a handheld, programmable micro-computer that can be used for creations from robots to musical instruments. VEXcode VR allows students to program a robot virtually. A Hummingbird kit, comprised of lights, sensors, and motors will be used to build a robot. No prior coding experience required. A device with internet access is needed - laptop or computer preferred.
